Meet the team

Par-Tee Events started at a wedding that felt… flat.

No entertainment. Long lulls. With guests unsure what to do next.

And because of that, Sam and Alan both pent the day quietly redesigning the experience in their heads.

And golf was a part of that idea, mainly because Alan played golf.

So a few weeks later, when Alan came to Sam with plans, she rolled with it. And that first year they did 27 weddings!

They left careers in prisons to spend their days creating joy instead.

Alan designs and builds every hole so it plays beautifully and photographs even better.

Sam obsesses over the guest experience, the decor of the course, the way our couples feel and making sure everything runs smoothly.

We started Par-Tee Events because we didn’t want any guest to feel the way we did: amazing wedding with an awkward, boring lull. And mini golf solves that in seconds.

Since launch, we’ve served hundreds of couples across the UK, won several awards (picture of us accepting an award above), and been featured by top wedding blogs.

5 common myths about Wedding Mini Golf Hire

It's my wedding, I am the entertainment.

And of course that is true, all of your loved ones are there on your wedding day to see you get married and have you considered what they will do when you are having your wedding photography done? Between the wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast? Or after the wedding breakfast when you have a few hours to spare before the evening guests arrive and the DJ set starts?

These are the perfect times for wedding mini golf, as it stops your guests standing around being bored.

I'm not sure people will play wedding crazy golf

And we totally understand your worry, no one wants to spend money on something that won’t be used. Which is why our team stay with our wedding mini golf, if people aren’t playing, we will come and round your guests up. We will speak to groomsmen, bridesmaid and wedding co-ordinateurs to make sure everyone gets a turn.

I will book closer to the date...

That’s what Lizzie thought too, but when she emailed us in April 2024 about her August 2025 wedding, we had to tell her that we were fully booked. And Chloe, who enquired 3 months before her wedding and Pippa, and the many morecouples we turn away every week. We totally understand why you would wait to see closer to the time, maybe the weather (we have covers for this), maybe budget (we have payment plans) or maybe it’s that wedding planning can be overwhelming and you don’t know where to start. Mini golf is only for summer weddings...

Now we know what you are thinking, mini golf goes outside so therefore it is only for summer weddings! And we completely understand your thoughts, especially as most of our photographs are from outdoor weddings.

But have you considered that the mini golf can go inside? Most of our weddings from October through to March are indoors and normally when a venue knows that a golfing concierge (member of our team) stays with the wedding mini golf and remain responsible for it, they a usually quite happy for us to be inside.

And when they aren’t, we have pop up covers that can be added to your package.

Can't I find it cheaper?

You are probably right, you could find a wedding mini golf cheaper, but you cannot find a course that looks like ours (we own the copyright to the course).

We know our couples priorities are having wedding suppliers that will exceed their expectations (100% of Par-Tee Events couples said we did this in our surveys).
