Wedding Mini Golf at Sandhole Oak Barn
Nicolle and Simon hired us to provide their wedding mini golf at Sandhole Oak Barn in April 2022.
The day was filled with love and laughter and was everything they wanted it to be.
It was Simon that first contacted us, we tend to interact with brides a lot more than grooms, so it was lovely to be able to hear from him.
The couple initially had some concerns around it raining on their wedding day. This was before we offered our cover, so we wasn’t able to offer any support. Also, the wedding was at Sandhole Oak Barn there is limited space to peg our cover down, so we would have struggled even if we had the cover.
Despite their worry about the rain, they decided to risk it and booked our wedding crazy golf and we are so glad they did!
Originally, we were talking with Simon, but as his work got busy, Nicolle took our the communications. Nicolle is truly one of the most loveliest people (I do say this about most of our brides, but mainly because we build such a strong bond with them,) and we found ourselves chatting about general things.
When Par-Tee Events started this wedding crazy golf journey into, we never realised how invested we would become in peoples lives and their happiness.
We get to know a couple and get excited for their day as much as any friend would do.
Simon and Nicolles day was no different!
We were excited to see the day, Our couples share a lot about their wedding day with us beforehand, so getting to see it all put together is wonderful. It’s like getting to the end of an exciting book, to see the happily ever after. This is why we stay at the venue with our wedding mini golf hire. See the other reasons here!
Nicolle had even told us about which food they were having.
After the wedding, Nicolle and Simon went on honeymoon to Greece. We watched them enjoying themselves on the stories and having some pretty amazing food!
They also had personalised score cards for their wedding, their theme was baby blue.
The sweetest part of working with Nicolle and Simon is when they returned from honeymoon, Nicolle messaged and said she hopes we still talk, as she has enjoyed chatting to us. It’s so heartwarming to have that and I felt the same. We do still talk and I keep updated with the amazing food they are eating through Instagram.
One of the downsides to running a wedding business is that you get to know about people, they become part of your life and when the wedding is over, they disappear, well not this couple! I’m so grateful!
We can’t wait to see what they get up to next in their lives.
We are honoured to have been a part of your special day, sending lot’s of love
Sam and Alan xxxx
