After having hired our wedding mini golf at over 200 weddings and events as well as planning our own wonderful wedding (see pictures in the about me), we know a thing or two about what wedding reception entertainment ideas you can have at a wedding.

Same as the last post, we are going to start with ourselves and our wedding garden games hire. 2. A steel Drum band
Most of you know that we (Par-Tee Events) got married in the Caribbean. We had a steel drum band as part of our reception there, but steel drum bands are not just for the Caribbean. They are the perfect wedding reception ideas UK. These talented individuals create beautiful music that is mesmerizing. It is also a pretty cool thing to have as your first dance music.

We love a magician at Par-Tee Events, we are often left fascinated about how some “magic” has been done. Magicians know how to read a room, they know how to get people talking, which is why we think they are perfect entertainment for a wedding reception. They can start the night off, before the DJ and dancing really gets going.

When you are wondering, what entertainment can you have at a wedding, a caricaturist isn’t the first things that springs to mind. But why not? Caricaturists make a fun picture of your guests, which also double up as a wedding favour.

5. An all-day DJ
Most people when they think of a dj, they think evening time, for the Par-Tee (see what I did there). However, there are a few DJ’s that do an all-day service. This means, no quite awkward cocktail hours, no waiting around for your first dance and ultimately, an all-day DJ creates a great vibe for the day.
